REMS cleans up awards at the House of Commons

REMS clean up awards at the House of Commons.

 

In 2005 REMS Director Dave Seel was awarded the Private Ambulance Service of the Year award by the Ambulance Service Institute. This was for an incident in Manchester when a car went into a canal. In 2006 REMS Director David Anderson was awarded the Private Ambulance Service of the Year award by the Ambulance Service Institute. This was for two simultaneous motorway pileups. In 2007 REMS Directors Dave Seel & David Anderson were jointly awarded the Private Ambulance Service of the Year award by the Ambulance Service Institute. This was for a horrific RTC in Wales. In 2009 REMS Director Dave Seel, along with REMS Clinical Effectiveness Manager John Trattles and Rescue Technician Dan Thomas, once again received the Ambulance Service Institute Private Ambulance Service of the Year award at the House of Commons. This was for a prolonged entrapment of patients within two refuse vehicles in Telford. In addition to this, REMS Clinical Nurse Specialist Bev Seel, also received the Ambulance Service Institute Presidential Award for saving a choking mans life.

They say lightening never strikes twice but on this occasion being recognised for a plethora of awards in as many years certainly highlights REMS as the market leader in Technical & Medical Rescue to industry

Dave Stubbs REMS (Rescue Clinical Team Leader) has been presented the Chartered Management Institute at level 3 by Mr John Burnside (Chief Executive North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust).
