Dear Forum Readers,
I'd be very interested to hear your comments on the use of Rapid Response Vehicles within an Industrial environment such as power stations, steel mills and large locations such as chemical plants etc.
What would in your opinions would be the ideal inventory of equipment which would be carried in this type of vehicle ?
Which type of vehicle would be the best option 4 x 4, pick up type, estate car, small van etc.
I have had several discussions with fellow collegues at work, which have resulted in suggested equipment being carried, items mentioned are fire fighting equipment, CBRN, medical equipment, rope rescue, spare back up equipment, cutting & extrication tools, rescue stretchers.
Would this be too much equipment to transport around a large site ?
In your opinion would you agree or argue is it really necessary to have all of this equipment in the back of an RRV ?
I look forward to your constructive comments & debate.
Yours
